Americana duo Crimson Calamity is composed of Mallory Trunnell and Lauren Harding. They craft reflective to vivid compositions that blend alt-country, folk, and pop genres.
The pair just dropped a heartfelt new single, Ghost that features Zane Carney.
The song starts off as a gentle and melodic lament about heartbreak, but bursts out with giant sweeps of ringing rock guitars towards its end, courtesy of Carney.
Trunnell and Harding’s harmonic vocals intertwine and airily float around each other, creating a beautiful effect. Nashville-based musicians Chris Powell and Brian Allen also contribute to the song.
Ghost was produced by Gena Johnson, engineered by Rachael Moore, and mastered by Kim Rosen. Crimson Calamity have released two previous highly praised EPs, All in the Cards and Gypsy Heart.
