Portland production mastermind Emancipator has announced a full-length remix album and kicked off the release with a major interpretation from CloZee.
The Labyrinth remix is tasteful yet upbeat, soaked in sweet orchestral pulls that are woven through a head-nodding bounce.
Douglas Appling, the Portland-based electronic musician known to music enthusiasts as Emancipator, takes a natural approach to his art. The music on his most recent effort, Mountain of Memory, continues to refine and consolidate his creative ethos.
The free-flowing tracks effortlessly encapsulate his entire musical history, praised by the likes of Magnetic Mag for their “unique edge with electric and acoustic guitars, classical violin, Indian dilruba, cimbaloms, finger snaps and more.”
As for CloZee, she’s a world bass producer drawing inspiration from her frequent travels and subsequent explosive performances across the globe. She recently released the full-length Neon Jungle LP via her imprint Odyzey Music which led to praise from Billboard Dance, calling her a “standout star of the genre.”
