Los Angeles-based vocalist RUNN is pivoting from her name recognition in the electronic scene to break out as a unique voice in pop.
Her debut solo single Better is a crystal-clear anthem about battles with depression that’s equal parts catchy and cathartic.
RUNN explains, “I wrote Better in a really dark place, and I think it’s important that musicians are talking about mental health and depression so much, but I never want that to be where that story ends… So it’s a song about not feeling worth it, not feeling okay, but wanting so desperately to change it and feel better.”
