Brand new DIY-pop duo Sleepover (featuring Evalyn and Greg Hvnsen) are emerging from the glossy sheen of Los Angeles with a rebellious sound.
Their debut single Cha Ching is a fiery mission statement with stomp-inducing instrumentals and riot grrrl vocals to drive it home.
Evalyn explains, “Our first show was in a friend’s backyard in Venice where we yelled bullshit into a microphone and danced around with a bunch of friends over cheap beer and cigarettes, and that’s the general vibe of the project. We’re tapping into the music that really made us feel something growing up. Letting ourselves make something simply for the adrenaline of it.”
