NEWS: AXEL MANSOOR TAPS SLEEPING LION & DULSAE TO UNLEASH REMIXES OF ELECTRONIC SINGLE WASTED MY LOVE

Electronic music artist Axel Mansoor broke out earlier this year with his runaway success Wasted My Love, which hit #2 on HypeM, reached #5 on Spotify’s US Viral 50, and received raves from respected blogs like Earmilk, Indie Shuffle, and Hillydilly.

Mansoor has now tapped two other acts to re-imagine Wasted My Love, the Boston-based indie pop band Sleeping Lion and Brooklyn’s electronic music producer Dulsae.  Their inventive remixes were released on August 9th.

Sleeping Lion may be known as an indie pop outfit for their original material, but their remixes display the electronic side of their pop chops.  They recently dropped Stop It, a collab with Opio producer colorthought, which came out via Majestic Casual Records.

On Sleeping Lion’s remix of Wasted My Love they retain Mansoor’s alluring vocals, but rework the rest of the track, creating a deep downtempo vibe with layered vocals, pulsating synths, and playful melodic lines.

Dulsea is a former session guitarist who’s found fame in the electronic dance music field. The artist has had numerous #1s on HypeM and support from buzzed about EDM-promoting YouTube channels.  His remix of Wasted My Love takes the track to the center of the dancefloor with a robust blend of the progressive house and future bass styles.

Singer-songwriter Axel Mansoor has traveled all over the globe, lived in many different regions, and currently resides in Los Angeles.  Wasted My Love is a vibrant debut tune that showcases Mansoor’s heartfelt, emotionally-driven style and themes of self-worth and loving who you are.

Be on the look-out for Mansoor’s next single arriving in September.
