NEWS: ELECTRONIC ARTIST MUNESHINE TEAMS UP WITH ALT-POP ACT DARCYS FOR A FULL THROTTLE DISCO-POP RIDE

Canadian rapper and electronic music producer Muneshine has been plying his intoxicating trade for well over a decade, amassing numerous JUNO Award and Polaris Prize nominations and other accolades.

Muneshine connected with fellow Canadians and alt-pop luminaries Darcys and collaborated with the act during a Converse-sponsored Rubber Tracks session.  The result is a radiant mix of bright electronics and catchy disco-pop on single Full Throttle, which also gets 3 extra remixes.

Full Throttle burns rubber (Well, more like it burns up the dancefloor!) today and Muneshine speaks about the exciting times recording with Darcys, noting amusingly, “We share a similar dark and sarcastic sense of humor as well, which makes our sessions an evil pleasure. All things considered, I’m not exactly sure how we end up making all this upbeat nu-disco/pop, but I certainly love it.”

Muneshine continues that Full Throttle, “…“is a song about escaping what weighs you down. … It’s a song about getting away and finding what makes you happy.”  And the track does just that, pumped up with peppy handclaps, percolating percussion, spinnin’ synths and electronics, thumpin’ beats, and smoothly slidin’ vocal cries.
