Sheare – Songs For The Nocturnal

Sheare-SongsForTheNocturnalWe’ve had a lot of success rounding up all of these exclusive mixes for the site. All it takes is the simple tweet, “Anyone out there want to make a mix for The Record Stache?” The response is overwhelming. In fact, we’ve got the next couple of months booked with some exciting mixes that I can’t wait to share. After a line of mixes from DJs, producers, and rappers we finally have a submission from a pop artist – Sheare.

Sheare is no stranger here on The Record Stache. I’ve been helping to promote his music since before his debut Somebody Else EP dropped a little over a year ago. At the end of April, he released his second EP titled Singularity, and he’s already working on new music. It’s a wonder how he even found time to put together a mix for us. Sheare is definitely a busy guy.

Shear has put together an introspective mix, diving into the sounds that inspires his own music. The selection of tracks that span the hour and eight minutes are heavy with emotion and passion. These are songs that somehow have more meaning when listened to in the middle of the night. Their made for those times when your alone in the dark with only your thoughts. This is the music that has more meaning when the moon is glowing through your window, and your mind is filled with deep thoughts. This is Songs For The Nocturnal.

Keep up with Sheare
