Originally from Texas, Elise Howard, who goes by her first name only in the music arena, is a multi-platform artist, taking on creative duties as an actor, singer, and songwriter.
As a child and into her teens Elise has made her way through the Hollywood maze, acting for the Disney Channel and working in the studio for Dreamgirls.
Elise turned her attention to music-making while in college. Her latest single, the heartfelt Edison Bulb, dropped late last week and is a follow-up to the smooth A-Frame and sparkling Few Words.
On the contemplative track Elise ruminates about love and loss. It’s an especially poignant song because she wrote it after the passing of her father, who worked in the television industry.
The hymn-like number focuses on Elise’s soulful and breathy vocals that are buoyed by delicate piano notes and layers of her sweetly vulnerable vocals.
And stay tuned – More music from Elise is due later this year.
Keep up with Elise
