Los Angeles-based indie pop duo Moxi have released Wolves, a dreamy new single (produced by Emmy Award-winning Bobby Hartry) with an accompanying video that features beautiful shots of Washington state’s coastline.
Wolves is a yearning call for using various art forms, including music, to soothe and heal. The deeply personal song was written by both band members, Anna Toy and Andy Toy, and it deals with Anna’s lifelong struggle with anxiety and depression.
Anna explains, “I spent years in a fog of depression… and anxiety… I eventually became someone I barely recognized. Fortunately, over the past few years I’ve started to realize that I am not alone in my struggle and I am grateful to say that I am SO much better now… While I’m continually mindful of the pain I used to live in, I finally understand my power and I genuinely love myself.”
Moxi has been making a name for themselves in recent years, especially with their Figures Bathed in Light video and their single Save Me. The pair have placed their music in a variety of TV shows, including Total Divas and Made in Chelsea.
