NEWS: ROCCO RODAMAAL & KEITH THOMPSON TEAM UP ON A REVAMP OF A HOUSE MUSIC CLASSIC

Written by: Jen Dan

This year is the 30th anniversary of the release of Break 4 Love, a house music classic from the act Raze. To commemorate the hit, three decades later veteran French producer Rocco Radamaal has teamed up with Keith Thompson, the singer of Raze, to release a revamp of the classic track.

Thompson and Roadamaal actually met in 2017 and Thompson wanted to bring his friend into the celebration of the success and strength of the Break 4 Love single. Rife with velvety vocals, wavy electro reverb, crisp percussion, and smooth rises, this second version of the song captivates.

A total rework and not a remix, the fresh Break 4 Love combines the vintage vibe of the original with Thompson’s newly recorded vocals and spectacular now sonics. The single also got love from multi-instrumentalist Alex Finkin, who worked with Radamaal on the track in Paris. Atjazz engineered the final mix in the U.K.
