Los Angeles-based pop artist T. Soomian incorporates R&B grooves and psychedelic vibes on his captivating new album Love Relief, which just arrived on September 27th.
The LP, which pays tribute to the city’s nightlife, was produced by Jon Joseph (formerly of BØRNS), with assistance on drums from Dan Bailey (Father John Misty) and Austin Scates (The Techincolors).
The single 1979 showcases Soomian’s hybrid, retro-mod style with the track wrapped in a light psychedelic patina, hazily glowing with musing vocals, slightly off-kilter keyboards, and smooth harmonies.
Through September Soomian has had a residence at Bootleg Theater and he’s been raved about by music sites like Earmilk and Stereofox. Find out what the fuss is about with an aural dose of Love Relief.
Keep up with T. Soomian HERE
