NEWS: L.A.-BASED POP ARTIST DELACEY ADDS CINEMATIC INTRIGUE TO HER SWOONING NEW TUNE

Written by: Jen Dan

Los Angeles-located pop singer-songwriter Delacey has been releasing a run of singles this past spring and summer: her acclaimed debut My Man (Top 40 radio play and in Billboard’s Top Pop chart), Emily, and the emotive Subway Song (that recently got an accompanying video).

She’s recently been featured in Delta’s Artist Spotlight series and has also co-written songs for Halsey, Demi Lovato, The Chainsmokers, and more.

Delacey’s latest dramatic track, Actress, just dropped and solidifies her as an artist to watch. Just like a performer on the silver screen, Delacey delivers her lines in a changeable style, at times broodingly soulful and at others with a flit of insouciance.

Delacey wraps her biting lyrics (“Don’t you believe a word that comes out of my mouth / ‘cause I’m a good actress.”) in a velvety croon that makes listeners swoon, so tune in to the show. Actress is out now via HITCO.

Keep up with Delacey
