Huge electro-pop act Big Gigantic are collaborating with their gal pal Ashe on a hot summertime single that just dropped this past Friday via Counter Records.
Aptly titled Friends, the track sways with a warm rhythm and welcoming vocals from Ashe. The lyrics are actually focused on a break-up, but the sound is pure sunshine. The meaning behind the song is to throw light on the valuable support from friends when facing turbulent times.
Big Gigantic is composed of saxophonist and producer Dominic Lalli and drummer Jeremy Salken. They spin DJ-based music, but with live instruments, creating an organic and immediate sonic vibe.
Lalli and Salken have been in the music groove for over a decade and are best buds. This month saw the release of their fifth studio album, Brighter Future, which includes guest artists like Waka Flocka, Flame, Logic, Cherub, Griz, Pell, and more.
