POST-EBM/ANALOG SYNTH ORGY, METAL DISCO ACT FEATURING KEREN BATOK, PLUS MORE…

Introducing Mr. Toxic Razor, one half of the darkwave duo Paradox Obscur, who in his maneuvers to avoid the labeling, he has launched three more monikers to include, record, and publish his wide musical worries. Toxic Razor is an analog synthesized musician whose “intentions” and influences range all in minimal-synth, minimal-wave, occasionally coldwave, synthpop, synthwave, electro-disco, and of course darkwave music where he finds his musical peace of mind in Paradox Obscur.

METAL DISCO act concerns and refers mostly on post-EBM, synth-punk, with a grind on dark electronics where you may also feel his keen on some industrial sonic streams. All these are shaping an intense but utterly melodic album where some important and acknowledged names are invited to participate in his feast. Keren Batok from ISOTROPIA and Red Sol. Andre Savetier, a researcher in music and popular culture, a DJ and musician too. Mind Teardown, the industrial side project of Domagoj Kršić from How Green Is My Toupee, and SUPERNOVA 1006 that stunning synth-punk coldwave duo from S.Petersburgh, Russia.

Ten songs that are away from any sense of experimenting with knobs and pedals and jamming together for fun. 10 songs that are built for entertainment and to dance with all night long, plus a glorious cover on an Icon of Coil classic and few more shinning sonic rockets. As I mentioned before, our man here uses analog synths which provide the appropriate warmth and the needed low-end. The whole record is hot like lava and you’ll experience a synth orgy that will blast you to your own dancefloor in the living room.

What I really adore in his musings is that despite the deepness and strain that surrounds you he never delivers any menace or rage to show off, and he never composes his sonic dreams like a pointing finger to the fans and to the same genres that he obviously adores. Quality never shouted out its presence and delights. Vade Mecum LP is here for you to discover it so, come on! The album is out through the Australian Detonic Recordings label!
