California born and raised singer-songwriter Tyson Kelly’s music revels in a melodic folk-pop and retro psych-rock sound. Using modern electronics and synths, but channeling a classic pop vibe, Kelly recently dropped enticing debut single Girl, You’re So Money, which comes off of his highly anticipated EP titled No Signal.
On Girl, You’re So Money, Kelly’s softly drawn out vocals float over the jam-packed, shining percussion and a laid-back, shuffling drum beat. The captivating track is perfect for the lazy days of summer spent lying back in the grass and gazing at the blue sky and white clouds.
Kelly, the son of renowned songwriter Tom Kelly, is a New York Film Academy graduate and he taught himself classical piano and guitar when he was younger. An accomplished musician and performer, he’s known for his previous band King Washington and touring around the world (and debuting on Broadway) disguised as John Lennon.
