Alternative pop act Grace Blue is a duo from Israel who now reside in Los Angeles. Vocalist Grace Mogz (Chen Mogsamov) and keyboardist Joseph Arazi made the move to the US to further pursue their interest in music.
The fruits of their labor can be heard on the potent single Nowhere To Go, and its accompanying cinematic video. A dramatic Mogz pronounces her words with passion against the more spare electronic/pop instrumentation from Arazi.
Grace Blue’s music video for Our Eyes has received critical acclaim and has hit over 100K views on YouTube. The pair’s self-titled debut EP melded emotive trip-hop with catchy pop melodies.
About Nowhere To Go, Mogz reveals, “The song was written about being stuck in an unhealthy situation in your life, in a relationship that isn’t good for you, whether it’s a romantic one, a family one or even with a friend or a job, because you don’t feel like you have a better option.” The track was produced by renowned Israeli producer Noam Akrabi (Eliad Nachom, Idan Raichel, Ivri Lider) and its power and message won’t soon be forgotten.
