Fort Worth, TX native Trevor Douglas may be best known for his stint on American Idol, season XIV, but he’s taken his music on the road for the past few years, opening for big names like Ringo Starr, the Jonas Brothers, and Hunter Hayes.
His musical trek has taken him through Texas (SXSW, the House of Blues) to several festivals and charity events. His debut EP, Sugar Coated Puberty, was a melodic and soulful success that showcased his pop-oriented style.
Latest single Pressure is an acoustic folk-pop endeavor that flows on swift rhythms, Douglas’ light, plaintive vocals, and strummed acoustic guitar. Douglas has a knack for crafting infectious melodies that pair perfectly with his earnest emotions.
