Californian Americana/folk band LA River Bend recently released the joyful single Summer Wind. It’s a spirited breath of warmth during the colder fall season that has encompassed half of the world.
LA River Bend blends the best of the pop and folk genres, creating songs bursting with bright melody and nostalgic charm. A highlight of the band’s sound is the captivating three-part harmonies that wind through each track, including on the brisk and engaging Summer Wind.
Nate Weiner (vocals, guitar), Emily Elkin (cello, vocals), Branden Stroup (bass, vocals, guitar) and Jacob Seldes (drums) will be releasing their debut EP, Run These Hills, imminently and will be performing at the Hotel Café on November 9th to celebrate the release of the new EP.
Summer Wind is one of the tracks on Run These Hills and it’s a tuneful, feel-good love song featuring robust instrumentation, a lively rhythm, and those beautiful intertwining three-part harmonies. The band states that, “The calming influence of nature in LA has been a huge musical inspiration to us.” With this nature-based imagery, creative compositions, dynamic rhythms, and heartfelt emotions, the Run These Hills EP is must-have music.
