International collaborative electronic pop project Annaland is comprised of Swedish producer Johan Lindbrandt and LA-based vocalist Gracie Gray. The duo’s debut single Tokyo, a meld of downtempo electronics and reflective indie pop vocals, dropped at the end of October via Proximity.
Both Lindbrandt and Gray are deep in the music scene. Writer and producer Lindbrandt’s credits encompass well-known artists like Hellberg, Christina Grimmie, Sarah Hyland of TV series Modern Family, and The Voice winner Danielle Bradbery. Lindbrandt has also recorded under the name BoTalks for Geffen and Proximity, with over 1 million streams for that project.
Gray has also recorded solo alternative music, and she is also a part of indie folk/rock band Leather Tramp. Gray has performed live at Music Tastes Good, Long Beach Folk Revival, and NPR’s Tiny Desk, as well as worked with renowned producers like Mikal Blue (Colbie Caillat, Jason Mraz, OneRepublic).
