SINGLE REVIEW –  DENVER SHOEGAZERS, A SHORELINE DREAM, RELEASE 4th SINGLE “ROOM FOR THE OTHERS”

The band from Denver is in no big rush, on July 14 they are set to release the 4th single Room For The Others from their ever evolving new 5th LP. All four singles are digitally released song by song before the vinyl-only physical releases, and if you ask me, they’ve already managed to thrill me!

A Shoreline Dream are pushing the lines of shoegaze music, blending their stuff with fresh ideas in the genre, with the new single based on a groovy in-the-face rhythm section, loud and clear drums, and a “busy” dirty  bass line grinding the path before the melodic, psyche, shoegaze guitars. Loads of pedals and knobs that actually lead the music to the thrilling motion of shoegaze bands.

Very exciting also are the vocals in the mix, arranged likewise keyboard harmonies with a very good and clear sound, actually helping the lyrics not to choke in the expected long reverbs and the rest of the fx. And last, what really pulled my ear, is that there’s no “shoegaze intro” at all…it just starts rocking with confidence!
