Pop singer-songwriter Kris Angelis released recent EP Heartbreak is Contagious in early June, a chronicle of changing phases in our lives – whether it’s a separation from a loved one, a move to a different region, or an emotional experience.
Angelis has a knack for combining folk-pop melodies with engaging storytelling and heartfelt vocals. She’s achieved success with her songs, winning awards like the 13th International Acoustic Music Award for Best Female Artist and LA Music Critics Award for Best Female EP, as well as reaching the Top 10 on iTunes’ Singer/Songwriter charts.
The music artist has now unveiled a fun and flirty music video for the upbeat single Kevin Bacon, and like its title, it heavily nods to that actor’s star-turning performance in the ‘80s drama, romance, and dance film Footloose.
The cute video that showcases the spark of first love features a girl with her boyfriend (played by Angelis and Cameron Robertson) as she amusingly teaches him all the ‘Kevin Bacon’ dance moves from Footloose. He’s a bit awkward at first, but via many sweet scenes, he finally gets into the groove.
