Take Your Time In Love pulls influences from ’80s pop ballads and tells a narrative? I wish I would have heard this song when it first came out last week. Elsie weaves a tale of caution told through ultimate regret, that doesn’t come off sounding nearly as depressing as it could, given the subject matter. It must be those deep synths and bold studio polish that gives the song a slightly uplifting feeling. The lyrics are quite the opposite, though.
Elsie put together a pretty emotional track with Take Your Time In Love. It fits nicely alongside the rest of her electro bass pop catalog. I always like that there’s a big variety throughout her music. She really has a wide range of talent, and each new release continues to prove it.
