Chance The Rapper & The Social Experiment – Wonderful Everyday

I saw the live version of this on YouTube filmed by someone with a handycam at a festival, and I’ve had my fingers crossed ever since for a studio version. Chance The Rapper comes through, and it’s greater than, I think, anyone could have ever possibly imagined. Wonderful Everyday is a cover of a song from a very unexpected place – Arthur. That’s right, this is the opening theme to Arthur. You know, Arthur the aardvark from PBS Kids!

Chance The Rapper goes above and beyond with this one. He could have just released an exact cover of the song, and I’m sure the internet would have gone crazy over it. Nope. Not good enough for Chance. He went and completely make the song his own by bringing in some noteworthy friends. Wonderful Everyday features artists like Wyclef Jean, Jessie Ware, and Francis & The Lights. Francis & The Lights! It’s the perfect mish-mash of musical backgrounds to create a completely uplifting and inspiring song. This one has plenty of soul to spread around.
