The Sweet Five #90

The-Sweet-Five-90Curated by Stephen

If you’re sitting at your desk, at home – wherever and you need a pick me up – The Sweet Five is your hit. Whether you’re into the hippest of hops, or the indie-ist of rocks – The Sweet Five has music that will make your Grandma feel good about herself. The Sweetest Five tracks of the week are below!

Hoodie Allan – Nolan Ryan

This jam is all about just how good Hoodie Allan is at rapping. His game is tight, there’s no denying it. His charm flows through this track. Love the sample track on this too. Nolan Ryan is some of his best work. Get on this!

DrinDrew – Anclave

So this may only be a demo track, but there is no denying the fact a certain mood has strung its self throughout this track. He reckons this demo is about 12 years old, but to have something so special hidden away must be a good feeling.

Hozier – Sedated

I know very little about Hozier, actually – I only know of this song. That was due to it popping up on my Facebook. I will tell you what, finding this gem has probably made my week. This is simply a brilliant track, there’s just so much about this that I like.

Milky Chance – Stolen Dance

Have heard more and more of this song over the last two weeks. First off, I didn’t know how to feel – 10 or so listens later I really dig it. This guys have recently rocketed in to stardom after going viral. Thankfully. This song is worth your ear time.

Florence And The Machine – Stay With Me (Sam Smith cover)

So if this isn’t the best thing I have heard all week, nothing is. I have seen Florence And The Machine live, and it was one of the best live performances I have ever seen – so to hear this one on Youtube absolutely blew my mind. One of my favourite artists covering my favourite song right now is basically the best thing ever!
