The Sweet Five #28
The Wyld - Full Circle
I always get amped up by this song. This album came out mid-to-late last year and impressed me a whole bunch. Impressed me so much, that you better keep an eye out for a feature coming soon involving The Wyld. There's a bit of a tease for ya!
Canyons - My Rescue
I am always up for a bit of a dancey type track. Whenever I hear this, I do just that. Dance! Does anyone else still do the robot? That's my go to move. This upbeat ecstasy helps you get through the working day. Trust me. Even if you don't like this track, the video is so awesome.
Villagers - That Day
Ever had a day that you describe as "that day"? Well this song pretty much tells a soft spoken tale of such thing. Some nice use of percussion in this one. "That Day" is a great track. You get it. I get it. It's cool!
Sleepy Sun - Open Eyes
Psychedelic funk is just another element of awesome. The noise created is a sweet symphony of kittens and rainbows portrayed through music. Whoever can gain such success to make one smile through music is really a genius in my eyes.
Therefore I Am - Splinters
I had such a love affair with TIA about four years ago. This song comes as they are no longer around. I love the mix of punk with the soft sung vocals. Add to the fact this song is catchy as can be and you've got a perfect mix. The Sound Of Human Lives is a solid album, a must have.
