Every week we will be featuring The Sweet Five! What’s The Sweet Five you may ask? Well I’ll drop you five sweet songs that you should listen to once a week, that will help you get over your mid-week slump and set sail towards the ever-nearing weekend! Ready? Okay!

Camera2 – Forever Lost

A soothing track with electro uptempo beats that create such a perfect ‘Lazy Sunday’ vibe. “Forever Lost” is a track that just appeals as background music to life. The lyrics are written in a very catchy sense that keeps this song on the tip of your tongue for days. This is Part 2 of a 9 video series. To catch up on Part 1 (“Just About Made It”) and find out more about the band, go here.

NO – So Scared

“So Scared” is a track that lead singer, Sean, wrote to himself when he was 23 years old. This acoustic track will be on NO’s new album, which has yet to have any details out about it. I am a huge NO fan after their Don’t Worry, You’ll Be Here Forever EP came out late 2011. A prominent vocal performance in every track led me down a path of love, which I won’t turn around on. This song makes me keen for the album!

The Kooks – Naive

This was probably one of the biggest songs through my high school years. What are The Kooks up to nowadays? I might needa do some research after posting this. These English chaps had a great fanbase since their music was so easy to listen and sing along to. I love this track.

The Mynabirds – Numbers Don’t Lie

You’ve probably realized by now I have a lot of music, and that I have no idea how I acquired it. The Mynabirds are in this category. This sweet number comes to you from the random shuffle of music I was listening to. I really enjoy the use of the instruments in this song. Adds to the powerfulness of everything. She’s got a great voice too!

Farewell Fighter – Love, Lust, Or Losing It

It’s about time I posted a pop rock track. Farewell Fighter released their EP The Way We Learn in 2011, and since then have released an album which has gone way under the radar . They have that edgy, but solid sound to their music which keeps them afloat. Very sweet stuff.
