Baauer – Harlem Shake (Dave Silcox Remix)

Baauer’s “Harlem Shake” has become a global phenomenon across the internet. As you may already know, the whole thing started across the internet from some people making a random YouTube video of them dancing. Now, “Harlem Shake” has premiered at #1 on the Billboard charts as well as reaching the #1 song on iTunes because of its viral fame.

What many people don’t realize though, is that Baauer is an up-and-coming artist producing “trap music”, or electronic music mixed with hip-hop. The trap phase has certainly arrived with Baauer’s latest hit, but more importantly, the “EDM community” has finally made a statement that no one can deny, in America, that electronic music is here to take over.

With all of this being said, taking a song like “Harlem Shake” and remixing it into something you can still enjoy is extremely hard to do. However, Dave Silcox doesn’t disappoint with his latest remix of the “Harlem Shake”, flipping the song into a great progressive house track which will play out nicely in any club or party.
