There’s something that stands out in Belgian Fog’s debut track, “Wait For Help”. At first listen, the Seattle based artist sounds a lot like many of those quirky, indie electro-pop bands that don’t really need to be named. So what exactly sets Belgian Fog apart from the rest of the pack? His music sounds completely organic.
While everyone else has that polished, electronic sound, “Wait For Help” sounds very analog. Whether it actually is or isn’t is beyond me, but it sounds that way at least. Paired with the sweet vocals, you don’t get indie pop much better than this.
There’s not a whole lot of info out there right now about Belgian Fog. Just a whole lot of blog love for “Wait For Help” that continues to spread. I can’t even find a Facebook under the name, only a Twitter account with 5 followers, one being myself. I’ll be keeping a sharp eye out for more Belgian Fog from here on out.
