I'll feature a decent local artist any chance I get. Now I'm not sure if Cyborganics calls Pensacola, FL or Mobile, AL home, but since the two cities are a hop, skip, and a jump away from each other, the guy is still a local no matter where he resides. Until today, I have never heard of Cyborganics, so it's a treat to discover someone else in the area who is creating unique hip-hop, rather than the outdated crunk, trap, chant rap that still infects the radio here. Like the name hints at, Cyborganics' style is more embedded in science fiction, some elements of horror, and everything else that falls under the umbrella of offbeat pop culture.

"Round Trip" is an interesting watch, featuring some locations around Mobile that happen to be tucked away, off of the popular path. As Cyborganics rides his bike around, you're exposed to places that are overgrown, unkempt, and filled with more decay than a lot of Mobile's proud, older citizens would like to admit to. Keep up with Cyborganics on Facebook and pick up his album, Infiltrate, on Bandcamp.
